Hyperspectral imaging, with
its ability to capture images at hundreds of spectral bands, provides a
valuable tool for enhanced visualization and analysis of a variety of
environments. Whether it is being able to quickly identify
camouflaged items or people, pest infestation within a field or
vineyard, or bacterial contamination of food, hyperspectral imaging has
the potential to be an extraordinary tool. It does not limit to a
given spectral range, offering significant versatility and flexibility
previously not possible. The applications across markets are
numerous and can offer improvements over the current state-of-the-art.
Currently under
development, SpectralSight's innovative design integrates photonics and
microelectronics that combine with powerful image processing algorithms
to expand what may be detected, analyzed, identified, or learned about
our environment. Based on proprietary optics and microsystems
concepts, the mini-hyperspectral imaging module under development can
then easily be integrated into OEM systems. |
