11/16/2005 NSF Awards SpectralSight $100K Phase I SBIR to develop their innovative mini-hyperspectral imaging module
Developing an innovative technology that integrates the power of micromechanical systems (MEMS) and two patent-pending inventions, SpectralSight was awarded a Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant by the National Science Foundation.  This breakthrough technology will potentially transform today's hyperspectral imaging.  With the proposed design resulting in 1000x reduction in size and a 100x reduction in cost over current alternatives, novel applications to meet critical needs in such markets as medical, food safety, environmental, agriculture, homeland security, military, and microscopy can be developed with system integrator partners.
9/15/2007 NSF Awards SpectralSight $500K Phase II SBIR to develop their innovative mini-hyperspectral imaging module
4/15/2010 NSF Awards SpectralSight Phase IIA SBIR to work with Fisk University to develop their innovative mini-hyperspectral imaging module
